Riga Technical University (RTU) takes an active part in the EU youth exchange program Erasmus and has links involving over 120 institutions across Europe and beyond. There are numerous opportunities for current students to have a period of study and broaden horizons in another European country and for students of our partner institutions to experience study in Riga. The Erasmus scheme is open to students who are nationals of the European Union or European Economic Area.
Note: You can only participate in an Erasmus exchange if your home institution has a bilateral agreement with Riga Technical University.
The academic departments of Riga Technical University are grouped into eight faculties:

- Civil Engineering;
- Computer Science and Information Technology;
- Engineering Economics and Management;
- Electronics and Telecommunications;
- Materials Science and Applied Chemistry;
- Power and Electrical Engineering;
