Medical Engineering and Physics
FACULTY OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING, TRANSPORT AND AERONAUTICS
The Master study programme in Medical Engineering prepares specialists in medical physics.
The main parts of the programme comprise courses on developments in theory and practice, project work and management, pedagogy and psychology.
The study course has important contribution from all leading medical companies.
The lectures provide detailed information on current best practices and are carried out with the involvement of hospitals, companies and associations dealing with medical equipment and medical engineering.
Academic staff work in close cooperation with colleges from various universities and institutions in Europe and across the globe involved in the field of medical engineering and physics.
- Teaching staff is active in both research and teaching as well as participates in international projects, conferences and publications,
- Representatives of companies and hospitals are participating in shaping and providing the study programme,
- Programme content is based on international experience and best practices.
Medical physics technology engineers work in medical institutions such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, health centres rehabilitation institutions, specialised centres, laboratories as well as medical equipment distributor, in service, certification, monitoring, production, designing and research companies.
